About the studio

The lapis in the pharaohs' tombs and in Vermeer's blues came from one place: the Sar-e-Sang mines of Badakhshan, in the Pamir mountains. Farrukh buys rough stone directly from families who have worked the seams for generations, cuts and polishes it in his Dushanbe workshop, and sets it in silver with the restraint the stone deserves. Deep, gold-flecked, unmistakable.
