A lidded box carved from a single block of Fergana walnut, its lid worked in an eight-point girih star that continues down the sides. Velvet-lined interior with a removable tray. Finished in linseed oil only.

Materials & making
Seasoned Fergana walnut, cotton velvet lining. 24 × 16 × 10 cm, 1.1 kg.
Each piece is made by hand; small variations are part of its character.
Care
Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Once or twice a year, rub in a little linseed or walnut oil and leave overnight. Keep away from radiators.

Their small objects — boxes, book stands, trays — use the same girih geometry and islimi vine scrolls, cut into seasoned Fergana walnut and finished with linseed oil. Nothing is stained; the depth of colour is the wood's own.
