Two layers of dyed felt cut into mirror-image ram's-horn patterns and stitched back together by hand — the technique UNESCO listed as intangible heritage in 2012. A month's work for two women in Naryn. Warm underfoot, and made to outlive its owner.

Materials & making
Hand-felted sheep wool, natural and low-impact dyes, cotton cord stitching. 200 × 150 cm, 6.5 kg.
Each piece is made by hand; small variations are part of its character.
Care
Vacuum gently or shake outdoors. Spot clean with cold water and wool soap. Never machine wash. Rotate the rug twice a year for even wear.
